DESCRIPTION

Epifaniusz Drowniak known as Nikifor Krynicki – self-taught artist, one of the most prominent naïve artists, painter of the world of imagination. His life was filled by art – he created about 40 thousand works on scraps of paper and pieces of cardboard: imaginary city landscapes, Orthodox churches, self-portraits. In Jan Łomnicki's film we see Nikifor working in a park in Krynica, and we see his paintings: masterpieces in composition and colour, emanating with harmony with fragile beauty.

Special screening of the digitally restored film.
