DESCRIPTION

An acclaimed film about the thin line between striving for greatness and succumbing to madness. Andrew Neiman is a 19-year-old jazz drummer. Affected by his father's literary career failure, Andrew will do all it takes to get to the top of an elite conservatory. DIRECTOR
Damien Chazelle (1985) American screenwriter and director. He directed his first movie based on his own script, “Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench,” during his studies at Harvard. He was nominated to a Gotham Independent Film award for it. His second film, the short “Whiplash,” received the Short Film Jury Prize at Sundance in 2013.
