DESCRIPTION
Feature-length version of the cult series from the 60s. Little boy Pinio is small, because he doesn't want to eat the vitamins his mother gives him. Instead of swallowing them, he puts them in a porcelain elephant named Dominik. As a result the toy starts to grow... It grows and grows, and finally becomes the size of a real elephant! This will become quite a problem for Pinio's family, especially that Dominik's fame lures the ivory thieves. After many adventures and changes of accommodation it becomes apparent that it's going to be better both for Dominik and for Pinio if the elephant goes back to the size of a porcelain toy.

DIRECTOR
Witold Giersz (1927) Prominent animated filmmaker, pedagogue, won several dozen awards at Polish and international festivals. Author of nearly 50 films, mainly shorts. Giersz's animations (such as “The Little Western,” “The Red and the Black,” and “A Horse”) are dynamic, visionary, they experiment with texture.
