DESCRIPTION
The story of Ephraïm, a young Ethiopian boy. One day his father decides to abandon him, and Ephraïm is left with his relatives. The boy ends up far away from home, but luckily he is able to take his beloved lamb, with which he has been inseparable. The boy isn't doing very well in farming, but he gains his guardians' approval thanks to his cooking skills. Ephraïm's uncle shows no mercy to the lamb – he doesn't see it as a friend of the family, just as an ordinary animal who is perfectly fit for a sacrifice during the upcoming religious feast. The youngster will do anything to save his precious lamb and return home with it.
