DESCRIPTION
Marek Koterski, the subject of the Two Riversides 2012 retrospective, once again takes a close look at Polish flaws, prejudices, and pathetic weaknesses. In his latest film he limited the story's location to the interior of a car almost exclusively. Two frustrated men, Pucio (Robert Więckiewicz) and Adaś Miauczyński (Adam Woronowicz), spend the ride discussing their wives, ex-girlfriends, and unfulfilled loves. Language has always been very important in Koterski's films; however, this time the words resound much more powerfully, they become the protagonist, they set the tempo for all the drama. The dialogues are witty, sharp, funny, but also horrifying. The duo has taken full advantage of the opportunity to show off their comedic talents.
