Perhaps Rose – a teenage girl growing up without a mother in provincial France – senses that now is her one and only chance to be angry and rebellious. She flails about, beset by extreme emotions, quietly expounds hatred, and struggles with her own innocence. These are experiences completely foreign to her father's Polish roots. With her childhood irretrievably gone, her girlish body no longer serves as a pleasure toy. Today, it is just another source of madness and a commodity to be traded on the market for bodies of the same age. Learning from her mistakes, Rose manages to find another way to build a relationship with a boy. The Polish man (Andrzej Chyra) hired by her father has a son in France whom he abandoned at some point in the past, and he would like to renew their relationship. Initially out of boredom, out of a longing to experience intense emotions, she involves herself in this complicated emotional puzzle.
