Ingmar Villqist is the literary pseudonym of one of the most interesting contemporary Polish playwrights. He draws much inspiration from Scandinavian theatrical traditions, with their emphasis on psychological depth and temperance that conceals intense emotions.
Jerg (Adam Woronowicz) left a fishing village for the big city, where he began his studies. Unexpectedly, years later, he calls his parents, asking them to pay him a visit quickly. His mother (Stanisława Celińska) comes over and brings lots of goodies. Jerg, however, is very weak, he eats nothing, and has serious trouble moving. AIDS has devastated his body, medicine isn't helping. The last, 51-minute-long meeting of the two will become their long-awaited reconciliation, as well as the fulfillment of boundless motherly love.
