Who are the godfathers of contemporary terrorist groups? “Watching the Moon at Night” - a creative documentary with a personal tone, looks at contemporary terrorism and anti-Semitism. “Watching the Moon at Night” gives a voice to the victims of terrorist attacks in recent years: Cherifa from Algeria, Arnold from Jerusalem, Clara from Columbia, Teresa from Spain, Juliette from New York and Michael from Northern Ireland. With great courage, these men and women reflect on their personal stories while analyzing the political circumstances that claimed the lives of their loved ones. “Watching the Moon at Night” focuses on the victims’ experiences and juxtaposes them against the views of world experts in this field.
Bo Persson – Swedish director and screenwriter, an ambassador of Polish culture. Studied philosophy, anthropology, and film at the universities in Gothenburg and Stockholm, and in 1974-1976 he studied French literature at the Sorbonne and at the École pratique des hautes études in Paris. Since the 70s he has often travelled to Central Europe, where he cooperated with the democratic opposition.
